Our story
After completing full careers in the British Army, Dawn and Mark decided to relocate to Devon. Both lovers of animals, we decided to set up our own smallholding amongst the rolling hills of West Devon.
Gotland sheep were a favourite on the smallholding from the beginning.
A very tactile breed of sheep originally from Gotland, an island off the coast of Sweden, they became the inspiration for our Gin and remain an important part of West Devon life for us. After a busy day on the smallholding, we both enjoy relaxing with a glass of gin and tonic overlooking our flock, which gave us the idea to create our own hand-crafted premium gin.
In order to create a unique gin and maintain the link with our Gotland sheep, we explored a variety of Scandinavian fruits such as the lingonberry and after much experimenting infusing a diverse range of botanicals, Gotland Gin was born.
We love visitors here at Gotland Gin HQ and welcome arranged visits or parties to sample our amazingly smooth and refreshing gins, and meet our sheep that were the inspiration behind our unique spirit. Relax in our bar and unwind with views of rolling countryside that surround our small holding. Enjoy experiences, cream G & Teas and light bites which compliment our gins.
Our bar also serves local ales, cider, lager, fine wines, artisan soft drinks and other spirits if you are not a gin lover and simply want to enjoy our beautiful setting.

All of our items are posted with Royal Mail 48 Tracked. An email and/or text will be sent to you in order to track your delivery once it has been dispatched. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery especially during busy periods and where orders are made over Bank Holiday weekends.

Deliveries to some areas of Scotland, offshore UK, BFPO and Northern
Ireland may take longer.

If you would like to make a collection from Gotland Gin HQ, please contact us in order to arrange a suitable time to collect your purchased items.
Packaging
We are proud to announce that all of our packaging is plastic free and 100% recyclable. We use the flexi hex packaging system, kraft paper tape, protective paper wrapping and wood wool allowing you to put the packaging straight into your recycling bin or better still re-use the packaging in other ways.
